Juliette Benzoni (born 1920, Paris) is a French writer working in the genres of historical and romantic historical novels.
From childhood, she was a fan of Dumas’s books. In 1964, she published her first book, “Catherine.” Since then she has created many works, whose distinctive feature is the combination of romance with accurate factuality regarding real historical events and figures.
She is among France’s most widely read authors. Her novels have been published in more than twenty countries in print runs exceeding fifty million. Several French TV series have been made based on them.
