The Comedians

Mr. Brown (Oleg Borisov), owner of the hotel “Trianon” in Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital, is suffering losses because ever since dictator Duvalier came to power, Haiti has stopped attracting tourists altogether. Brown travels to New York, where he unsuccessfully tries to sell the “Trianon.” Immediately after his return, another trouble awaits him. On the grounds of the ill-fated hotel, in an empty swimming pool, lies the corpse of a guest who decided to end his life.
