When No One Is Watching

Kora Landry and her friends Violet and Jordyn—twelve-year-old girls—were supposed to have a normal sleepover: board games, watching horror movies with popcorn, and talking about boys. But the sixth-graders decided to run away from home and, at midnight, go to an abandoned railway depot to check a city legend. This, seemingly harmless, adventure turned into a nightmare for the residents of a small town, when Kora was found on the railway tracks almost unconscious, with a stab wound and a head injury.
