A one-man show “Prince Andrey” based on L. N. Tolstoy’s novel “War and Peace,” performed by Vasily Lanovoy. The life path of Prince Andrey is the story of disappointments, but at the same time it is the story of discovering the meaning of life.
“This is not at all reading chapters from the novel; it is a staged, playful piece, a kind of theater at the microphone, whose traditions today—perhaps besides ‘Radio Rossiya’—no one supports,” says German Sadchankov.
“Prince Andrey” is a joint project of “Radio Rossiya” and the Board of Trustees of the Presidential Regiment, which supervises an entire program devoted to popularizing the best examples of Russian military history.
