Olive is thirty. She doesn’t have stable work or clear plans for the future. She lives with her parents and also suffers from insomnia, at times feeling an overwhelming emptiness. Everything turns upside down when Olive unexpectedly receives a letter from her eccentric ex-aunt Vivienne, who disappeared sixteen years ago, inviting her to Paris. That’s how she ends up in one of the oldest bookstores on the Left Bank of the Seine, in the company of local bohemians—except Vivienne doesn’t show up for the meeting. Soon Olive will have to decide: continue searching for the elusive aunt or return home. But first—should she do what others expect from her, or follow her own dream?
