Meet Nina Hill: a young woman, beautiful—and a convinced introvert. She lives shut away in her comfortable little world: she works in a bookstore, loves to plan everything, and adores her cat named Phil. When someone tells her that besides reading there is another life, she simply shrugs and grabs a new book from the shelf.
Suddenly, her father dies—someone she didn’t even know—and it turns out that “in her inheritance” he left her a bunch of relatives. She’s in a panic, because she has to talk to strangers! And to make matters worse, a sworn enemy turns out to be a kind, funny man who is very interested in her. It’s a catastrophe! Real life is much more complicated than book life. But a new family, a persistent admirer, and a cocktail of pleasant little things will force Nina to open a new page in her life—no longer entirely “bookish.”
