Description
Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) is an outstanding English writer and the winner of the 1907 Nobel Prize in Literature. At home he is widely known for his poetry. In Russia, he is especially beloved for his fairy-tale stories about a boy named Mowgli who got lost in the forest and was raised by wolves. The defenseless little Frog (that’s how Mowgli’s name is translated) had to endure many hardships to survive in the wild and find loyal friends and helpers, including the bear Baloo, the panther Bagheera, and the wise python Kaa. Offering you an audio version of these tales, we invite you on an exciting journey into the world of the jungle, full of dangers and adventures.
