Viktor Alekseevich Pronin was born in 1938 in Dnepropetrovsk. In 1960 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute. He is the author of books “Blind Rain,” “Typhoon,” “Special Conditions,” “Candibober,” “Suicide Every Day,” “Fall, You’re Killed,” “Gang,” “The Death of the President,” “A Woman on Wednesdays,” “Bad Omens,” “The Highest Measure,” “Winners Are Not Judged,” “Women’s Logic,” “Splashes of Champagne,” and others.
