In the laboratory of physics teacher Alexey Palych and his assistant Borya, an alien with an important mission to study human emotions settles in. However, it must hide its true nature from everyone except its new friends. In a small town where almost everyone knows everyone else, keeping this secret is very difficult. This story served as the basis for the film "Summer Impressions of Planet Z".
