Captain Fracasse

Blessed France of the reign of Louis XIII. Baron de Sigonjak is a young nobleman from an ancient and glorious, but withering, family. He spends his days in a half-ruined castle, in the company of only an old servant. One day, in an autumn storm, the castle will be asked to shelter wandering comedians. This is where love at first sight catches up with the baron. For the sake of the beautiful Isabelle, he decides to leave his ancestral home and join the troupe.
