Ursula Smart could have spent her snowy weekend differently, but, to her mother Pandora’s displeasure, she decided to take part in her mother’s book club meeting held in isolation at a country house. Among the participants are her best friend Mirabel, Aunt Charlotte and Joy, as well as Bridget and her dog, Mr. Tizzlebell.
Even though they’ve already discussed "The Vanished One" three times this year, this seclusion is their chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. But not everyone has such intentions.
Next to the mansion, they find a body. So far, there is only one.
Did the killer break onto the premises, or is it someone from their own group?
To solve the puzzle, they must forget their disagreements and start acting.
After all, surviving a book club is their main goal.
