Dovale is a comedian whose fame has long since faded. In his set, he juggles between unrestrained fun and a nervous breakdown. Flirting with the audience, he creates stage memoirs. Gradually, behind the façade of jokes, a tragic past shows through: the horrors of childhood, the cruelty of his father, military service. Humor becomes the only way to overcome the past.
