Yoga Town

In 2019 in Berlin, Lucy, a yoga teacher, dreams of visiting India. Her father, Lowe—a guitar maker—loves the 1960s music and keeps memories of the time when he followed the “hippie trail.” Their family history became legendary after Lowe, his brother Mark, and their friends Corrinna and Maria traveled to India in 1968 in search of freedom and spiritual enlightenment. They visited Maharishi’s guru ashram, where they meditated on—and with—“the Beatles,” which changed their lives.

Five decades later, Corrinna—Lowe’s wife and Lucy’s mother—suddenly disappears. The father and daughter, worried about her absence, set out to find her, following the same route—from Berlin to Rishikesh. In the process, they remember the past, sort out what wasn’t said, and uncover hidden secrets connected to love, memory, and the decisions made many years ago on one summer day.
