Italy, 1943. Eva Rosselli seeks refuge within the walls of a monastery. Her last hope is childhood friend and first love, Father Angelo Bianco. He helps many refugees whom the Catholic Church shelters from the Gestapo. For Angelo and Eva, there is only life and death—“now” and “never.” They no longer doubt their feelings.
