Mikhail Efimovich Litvak (born 1938) is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a psychotherapist in the European register—and the author of many books devoted to questions of psychotherapy, communication psychology, and management.
Purposeful modeling of emotions, correction and prediction of fate, intellectual nirvana, psychological aikido, psycho-mirth therapy—this is far from an exhaustive list of techniques developed and successfully implemented in medical practice and in family, executives’, administrators’, and business consulting.
«From Hell to Paradise»—as the author himself says, his best book—presents a cycle of lectures on psychotherapy. In an accessible form, not only for professionals but also for a broad circle of readers, the author surveys the main directions of modern psychotherapy, раскрыває the psychotherapeutic ideas of mythology and the Bible, of prominent philosophers and writers (Socrates, Solomon, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Freud, Adler, Fromm, Horney, Pushkin, Dante, and others).
