For the screenplay of the film of the same name, which was put on the shelf in 1973 and came to the audience already during Perestroika, Boris Vasiliev was awarded the Union of Film-Makers “Nika” prize for 1987.
The book also includes other well-known works by the writer: “Greetings from Baba Lera,” “Once upon a time there was Klavochka,” and “The Death of Goddesses.”
