Judas Iscariot

“Jesus Christ was warned many times that Judas of Kerioth was a man of very bad reputation and that he had to be avoided. Some of the disciples who had been in Judea knew him well themselves; others had heard about him from people, and there was not a single person who could say a kind word about him. And if they criticized him with regard to his supposed greed, treachery, tendency to pretense, and lies, then those who were asked about Judas spoke of him in the harshest words. ‘He quarrels with us all the time,’ they said, spitting, ‘he’s got his own ideas, and he slips into the house quietly like a scorpion, and when he leaves it, it’s with a commotion…’”
