Fighters

During a battle aboard the battleship “Fearless,” junior mechanic Egor Smirny ends up trapped in a damaged compartment of the ship. The air is running out. Smirny remembers his short life and dreams of being in the fight at the controls of a fighter, dying—Egor believes—with honor. In his head flash by years of training at school, friends who died, romantic adventures, and the battleship’s artificial intelligence, which—somehow—seems determined to make life unbearable for the junior mechanic.
