The History of Magic in North America is a small collection of short stories written by Joanne Rowling in the form of historical notes, which were published on pottermore.com from spring to autumn 2016. Besides being interesting in their own right and allowing you to dive back into Rowling’s world of magic, these stories also serve as a kind of bridge to the film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The works explain some differences in how magic developed in the United States and Europe.
Later, the author of Harry Potter published two more stories: about the main governing body of North American wizards (MACUSA) and a splendid story about the creation and formation of the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
