Leonid Lipavsky (1904–1941) is not the most well-known member of the “chinari” circle (Kharms, Vvedensky, Oleynikov, Druskin), but in his treatises written in an almost ancient dialogic form, speculative concepts crystallized—expressions of the “chinari” spirit and an attempt to categorize a collapsing world. This edition includes works such as “A Study of Horror,” “Conversations,” “On the Physical Union,” “Dreams,” “On Transformations,” “Determinate,” “Dizziness,” supplemented by an article by Dr. phil. sc. Anastasia Toropova.
