Additional information: About the author: Archpriest Gennady Fast is a priest, preacher, writer, and theologian. Born in 1954 in the village of Chumakovo in Novosibirsk Oblast. A graduate of the Faculty of Physics of Tomsk University and the Moscow Theological Academy, he defended a dissertation and holds the degree of Candidate of Theology. He advanced from novice and deacon to archpriest and dean of Orthodox churches of the Eniseysk district. At present—he is rector of the Eniseysk Holy Assumption Cathedral. Lives in the city of Yeniseisk.
