The Art of Reincarnation

Successful oil magnate Sergey Baranov watches as some young punk opens the door to his luxurious “Mercedes” — and before he can even shout, an explosion rips through, flames leap up, and the would-be thief’s mangled body and metal debris scatter across the yard. Two days later, as Sergey returns from a meeting of the authorities, another attempt is made on him, and a day after that he’s shot at in a café. Sergey’s bodyguard, Zhenya Okhotnikov, investigating the chain of attacks, traces the conspiracy to an organization methodically eliminating big businessmen. The threads lead upward — and Zhenya decides to test how strong those threads really are.
