Rescue comes when you’re completely desperate. After school I still couldn’t get into anywhere, and now my stepmother is sending me to work. After another argument with her, I end up in the hospital, where an unfamiliar man offers me a “ticket to the future”—free tuition at the Institute of General Sciences. Only one catch: they’ll teach us… magic! Of course, I agree without hesitation. If only I had known what I would have to face!
