Game Journalist. The Great Russian Novel About Games

The author of this novel is a journalist, creative director of the Xsolla service, and a former author for Game.EXE and “Afisha”—Andrey Podshibyakin. “Igrozhur,” his second book, is a direct continuation of the first chapters of the story, originally published on LiveJournal and in the Russian PC Gamer, where he served as editor-in-chief. The main character of “Igrozhur” is a senior-school student, Yura Cherepanov, who moves from a Siberian town to Moscow to work at his beloved magazine “Mania of the Country of Navigators.” Gradually, the hero learns the realities of the editorial office and understands that everything in the publication is arranged quite differently than he had imagined.
