Description
A small Spanish town, San-Pablo, was visited by luck. Deep in the Comanche Mountains, gold was discovered; and a few days later—silver as well. So, within the same period of time, the little town became a hub of yellow and white wealth. Gold seekers constantly came to San-Pablo for all kinds of necessities. All caravans and wagons inevitably went through the town, making a stop there. From Friday to Monday, the miners would come into town to spend their wages—along with the gold and silver they had mined. That was what enterprising card player Thomas Corcoran decided to take advantage of, planning to set up a gambling business in San-Pablo.
