Description

The setting is Moscow—the one that never sleeps. It keeps the secrets of its inhabitants, covering them with fog. Five factions divide the city among themselves: the sorcerers on Kuznetsky Most, werewolves in the Izmailovo district, demons in the north of VDNKh, vampires in the castle on Rublevsky Highway, and gods at the headquarters on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment. Sorcerer Mark can see what is hidden from others, so he always knows who is in front of him—unclean, a werewolf, or a vampire.

In the morning, he does delivery work on the side, but when bright illumination starts to flash, the guy goes out into the streets to perform tricks. This life suits him more than well—until the leader of the vampire clan, the Immortal, accuses the sorcerers of murdering his closest adviser, and Mark turns out to be the main suspect. The sorcerer turns to the owner of a magical shop on Tsvetnoy. Meanwhile, Alice—once Mark’s beloved—tries to find the source of the discord and restore balance in the city, while innocent people become pawns in a game of the supernatural elite.
