Going North. The Valley of Towers

The “MediaBook” studio offers an audio version of “Heading North. The Valley of Towers,” a work by the well-known science-fiction writer Vadim Denisov. The story follows the earthly scientist Mark Wisham, who, due to meteorites that struck his spacecraft, ends up on the planet Vankor. Here life unfolds on a medieval level, and technological achievements are limited to the simplest silicon pistols. Mark will have to forget his past and become a wanderer who breaks local traditions, carrying a long sword on his back. And he not only carries the sword—he actively uses it, because he needs to survive far from the civilized Earth, which is hundreds of light-years behind.
