A spaceship finds a planet where society functions as a working anarchy. There is no government and no leadership—those who arrive as “carriers of truth and power” have to observe a political-economic system entirely based on cooperation and trust rather than coercion. The inhabitants completely ignore the incoming officials and the military. Before the Empire that came to subjugate them and add them to their registry—and other worlds—none of this matters… And, most importantly, this way of life quickly starts to appeal to the ship’s crew.
