“Seems it won’t be as boring as I thought,” Kirill smirked, noticing a slender blonde.
He had always been sure that dead ends didn’t exist. Even if his parents sent him to the village for a whole month. What could stop him from starting a light romance with that pretty girl who chatted cheerfully on the phone? And really—how could a beauty like her feel gloomy in Osinovka?
Straightening his hair, he casually headed toward the blonde.
“Hi,” he said, giving her his most charming smile. “Hey, farm girl—let’s take a walk in the meadows? I’ll read you some poems.”
“Wait,” she said into the phone. Then she studied Kirill closely and smiled. “No, we won’t go—” her hand reached for a pitchfork, “—we’ll run!”
