…And Let a Dog Walk by Your Side: Stories of Friendship, Loyalty and Love

A collection of ten stories dedicated to friendship, loyalty, and love, with dogs taking center stage. Created with the participation of an Australian shepherd named Latte, these works show how dreams can become real thanks to inspiration from a faithful friend. The book features stories where the main characters represent different breeds such as Aussies, Salukis, Shelties, and Chihuahuas. The edition is accompanied by illustrations by Sona Abgaryan.

The author, Artak Oganesyan, began his writing career despite a long path in engineering and economics, which he later finished to become a successful director at IT companies. His literary journey started with a story written back in 1991, but published 25 years later. In 2021, he completed a writing master’s course and continues developing his skills. His novella won the “Manuscript of the Year” award in 2022. In the new book, written with the participation of Latte the Aussie, the ideas that arose during walks are reflected—making the dogs an indispensable part of the narrative.
