Description

A dark fantasy thriller plunging listeners into a grotesque atmosphere of a horror film. The main character, having lost his memory, finds himself in a strange, half-forgotten town, as if woven from archetypes of the bygone Soviet era. But these archetypes, at first harmless and steeped in nostalgia, in this town take on dreadful, monstrous shapes. The protagonist didn’t fall into the past, but into Hell itself—the heart of it where a dead Soviet city rots. For stealing a bottle of “Buratino” soda, the punishment is death. In the district police station, people are beaten like livestock. Behind the ruined railway station watches a disgusting Watchman accompanied by monstrous Dogs. And over all of this hangs a colossal monument of black marble like a heavy shadow. Trying to recover his memories, the hero wanders through a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys—straight toward the very heart of the Underworld.
