Description

Spring 1939. At the height of the border conflict between the Japanese occupying Manchuria and Mongolia. The Soviet Union sides with the Mongolian people. Among the Special Corps of the Red Army that holds back the Japanese invaders at the Khalkhin-Gol River is a rifle company of Captain Sergey Novikov. The soldiers are exhausted by days of fighting.
