This book is warm, family-like personal memories of Gurudev—Sri Sri Ravi Shankar—recorded by his sister Banumati Narasimhan. According to her, this is an attempt “to fit an ocean into a teacup” and offer readers “a sip of infinity.” It tells about a boy from southern India who, from childhood, was marked by depth and responsiveness, and about his further transformation into a famous teacher. The book includes descriptions of Gurudev’s everyday life and that of his family, serving as a vivid illustration of Indian life and culture.
