This is the story of a pirate society created in London at the end of the 18th century.

Taking advantage of the general confusion and thanks to the extraordinary abilities of its leaders, the criminal society grew into a powerful organization that united outlaws from many countries. It had its own fleet and army—not only did it attack peaceful merchants, but it also dared to fight against regular troops.

European governments had to make no little effort to deal with this merciless formidable enemy and to uncover the existence of this criminal organization.
