On the pages of this book, along with our respected reader, we will return to the world of Myflandia—a magical country created by the English writer Gerald Durrell. The realism of the world he built made it seem believable that somewhere—either behind the curtain of our overloaded everyday life, or in a parallel, less burdened universe—the story of this world continues, only no one has the time or the ability to look in there and tell how things are going. To be honest, I didn’t have time either. And the longer I didn’t have time, the scarier it became that one day this "once" would turn into "never." That my children and other people’s children would grow up and dive into their own worries, and they would have no time either—so it seems they would never find out how the magical country created by Durrell lives. Finally, I became truly afraid, and I had to sit down seriously to write this book. Well, not quite seriously—but anyway, I had to, I had to absolutely—return to Myflandia and find out what happened there next.
