The Guests

A hurricane called Celesta is about to crash into idyllic Florida, and the Davises are forced to shelter in their home by the ocean. Their only wish is to wait out the storm in comfort, without going to the municipal shelter. But their plans won’t come true: a stranger’s boat docks at their property, three unknown people ask for shelter—and the Davises can’t refuse. As the hurricane gains strength, tension inside the house grows too. Damaged trust, old skeletons in the closet, and—most importantly—a strange feeling that not everyone will make it out alive keep everyone on edge, not letting the book release you for even a minute.
