Hot Snow

To the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad. A radio dramatization based on Yuri Bondarev’s novel of the same name. The novel “Hot Snow” is based on real historical events from December 1942 and tells of an attempt by the German Army Group “Don” led by Field Marshal Manstein to break the blockade of the three-hundred-thousand-strong army of Paulus—encircled near Stalingrad. The outcome of the entire Battle of Stalingrad depended on the battle described in the work.
