The Mountains Promised You

Alice is twenty-seven.

She has an ordinary life and an ordinary job, but everything changes when her husband—the famous environmental activist—dies mysteriously.

Now Alice must investigate the mystery of his death, embarking on a dangerous journey along the mountain trails of Altai.

But she has not yet realized that she herself has become a target in someone’s cruel game.

Along the way she will have to learn friendship and mutual help, heal a broken heart, find friends and enemies, and—most of all—never lose herself.

And of course, she must survive to protect the reserve her husband paid for with his own life…
