Bitter Lingonberry

Near the village of Vereevo, for the fourth year in a row, on the same day, girls are found murdered. The police unsuccessfully search for a maniac, while local residents suspect evil forces. Even the candidates for the role of killer have already been suggested: they say witches and sorcerers bring virgins as sacrifices during the Sabbath. The heroine of the novel, Nastya, goes to the cursed village to search for her missing sister. Her desire to find out what happened to Alyona will be stronger than fear. Nastya doesn’t suspect how many strange people she will meet in Vereevo—and what, in the end, she will uncover. Her feelings and worldview will be shaken up in earnest. The reward for all Nastya’s suffering will be love.
