The Years

Virginia Woolf was a well-known British writer whose works were translated into more than 50 languages. Her novel “The Years” tells the story of three generations of a British family during a period of changes taking place in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The novel weaves world-historical events together with the fates of the Pargiter family, reflecting moments of closeness and estrangement, anxiety and triumph. “The Years” became Woolf’s best-known work, landing on the “New York Times” bestseller list.
