A continuation of the unique project by the TV channel «Science» (“Наука”) «Year in Orbit»—about the longest annual expedition on the ISS. Astronauts through the eyes of viewers and readers: everyday work, downtime, experiments, and life in space without idealization.
This book develops the unique project of the TV channel «Science» (“Наука”) «Year in Orbit», dedicated to a key event in the history of long-duration space flights—an annual mission to the International Space Station. Unusual in both its duration and filming format, the project made it possible to see the ISS from the inside—through the eyes of those who spent a full year in orbit, episode by episode showing the real everyday life of astronauts: the routine of service and moments of respite, significant scientific research and, of course, the specifics of life in zero gravity. Readers are invited once again to travel this path together with the heroes—from intensive launch preparations to recovery after returning to Earth.
