The Tin Drum

The poems of Günter Grass collected in this edition were created in Denmark in late summer 2006. They are a work of art—Günter Grass’s response to the discussion raging in the media around the publication of his memoirs “The Onion of Memory.” Thus, out of scattered emotions and impressions, “The Dull August” appeared.
