The Clay Envelope

The novella tells of two boys: the son of a merchant, Nabi-Sine, and the small slave Zalilum. They lived in Babylon during the reign of King Hammurabi. The events described here took place in the period when Hammurabi was preparing to attack Mari, the capital of Zimri-Lim.
