On March 30, 1806, the ship “Juno” entered a small strait connecting San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean, led by the Russian diplomat and entrepreneur Nikolai Rezanov. In Nikolai Petrovich’s plans were purchases of provisions for Russian colonies in Alaska and establishing trade ties with the Californians. In San Francisco, a 42-year-old man meets with the 16-year-old daughter of the fortress commander, and from that moment began an unexpectedly tender and piercing love story that became the basis for the rock opera “Juno and Avos,” whose premiere took place at the Leninsky Komsomol Theatre on July 9, 1981. ©&℀обьев В.А.©&??
