Description
Thirty years on, we’re gradually softening the effects of climate change. Still, there’s the question of how to deal with the disgruntled representatives of the older generation who can’t accept the new future.

For young people, climate change is not up for debate—it’s simply a fact of life. The reality is that cities are forced to move deeper into continents due to rising sea levels. Projects for using renewable energy appear everywhere. Disaster response skills, as well as managing the consequences of floods and superstorms, become commonplace and are trained by millions every year. This worldwide activity draws in everyone who wants to work. Even if the ultra-right comes back to power, the momentum is too great to quickly stop these programs.

Nevertheless, there remains a generation that clings to old symbols, resentments, and off-road vehicles. Their news sources convince them that their anger is justified, claiming that climate change is just a “left-wing” invention.

These are your grandfathers, uncles, and cousins. They won’t give up their influence without a fight—and they’re ready to defend their positions.
