Hedda Gabler

General’s daughter Hedda Gabler, freshly returned from her honeymoon, is stifled within the circle of bourgeois comfort and dull respectability. A meeting with a former lover—an able but weak scientist—awakens in her a dangerous desire to manage other people’s fates and play with fire.
