Somewhere at the Edge of the World

Nobody knows where exactly the “edge of the world” is, and whether it exists at all. Nobody knows what it’s like there—at that edge—and what lies beyond.

Lilya Molchanova sets off to the edge of the world, to Anadyr. At first glance, it’s just an ordinary business trip to the radio station “Purga,” but in reality, they sent her with a long-range plan.

At the edge, everything is different—cold and dangerous. And while Lilya, in advance mourning her terrible fate, suddenly finds herself in an unknown and wonderful world where people live by other laws and rules. They’ve learned to help and save each other—without that, you can’t survive in the far North!

When Lilya, under strange and incredible circumstances, finds a murdered hunter, an intricate and terrifying game begins. She thinks she’s alone, that no one will help or save her—but then she realizes: there’s no cosmic loneliness. Instead, there are real people—alive, decent—ready to save her at any cost.

And over the snowy vastness, radio call signs sound: “You’re on the air on the Purga radio!”—which means life goes on, there’s hope, and the edge of the world isn’t truly the end… it might even be the beginning.
