A seventeen-year-old boy studies at a school of factory-and-plant training in Siberia. Somewhere there is war roaring… The boy’s aunt, Avgusta, receives a notification from the front. She is left alone, with two children. The nephew hurries to help his aunt—and on the way gets caught in a snow blizzard…
The story deeply moves: the author poured into it so much soul, so much of his own pain—because he himself went through the war. Those genuine feelings he conveys to us in his work can’t leave anyone indifferent.
