The electronic version of the book “Fuck you, Parkinson!” was published in late 2020, and I immediately started receiving letters. They contained everything—questions, requests, stories, proposals, and so much pain and suffering. This communication made me significantly revise the first version of the book, placing clearer emphasis on the questions that, above all, interest people with Parkinson’s and their relatives. As a result, a second edition of the book appeared (printed in October 2022), which differs quite substantially from the first.
It is exactly about it that Professor O. S. Levin said: “You wrote such a book that it’s impossible to put down. It’s not just the first book by a patient with Parkinson’s in our country—I think it’s one of three (if not the best) in the world. You managed to combine a subtle description of the patient’s emotional experiences, deep immersion into the existential questions that confront him, with simple but ingeniously thoughtful recommendations and a scientific understanding of the disease.”
