Description
In the spirit of the hero of “Phenomena,” he is akin to a kinsman of Münchhausen—a uniquely gifted person. But this genius appears not in some far-off cloud-cuckoo land, but… in Moscow in the 80th year. A Moscow that is a little fairy-tale, a little exaggerated, anticipating the Olympics. And then miracles begin to happen… Though what is happening—are they miracles, or just plain swindling? Which of the characters is a real “phenomenon,” and which is a enterprising deceiver? And finally, what is a phenomenon—mind-reading or the ability to remain a decent person? What is the price of this “phenomenality?”
